I used to keep my books pretty well organized. Usually split between fiction and non-fiction, with some standalone spaces for about-to-read titles or collections.
Until Isaac came along.
I’ve gotten better at accepting a little chaos. But Isaac’s destructive tendencies have decreased…or at least been diverted elsewhere.
Enter the durian fruit pattern.
One side is a nice rainbow display. There is a loooot of red and blue going on. I thought I would have more yellows. And why is it that so few books are published in purple?
The other side has some blacks, whites, and grays. Then there’s the shelf in Isaac’s closet that has magazines and several more stacks of homeless books. Someday they shall see the light of day again.
